But I got a great new Clemson orange shirt from Alan to wear, and he bought himself and his daddy new "coaches' polo" shirts of lightweight fabric, orange of course.
And more new clothes from shopping with my mom Saturday afternoon. I needed skirts to wear in this heat. Alan and I have both been more miserable than ever these last 3 weeks of unseasonably hot weather. 10 degrees higher than normal. Like August, only it's June.
We are both looking forward to escaping to Colorado on Wednesday for our annual camping trip. He has the fly fishing gear ready to go.
Finally we post a few more pictures from GTR 2010. FRIENDS! We had such a fun, social time at GTR this year. Can you tell?

The name tag pic is us with another Alan and Joann, from upstate NY at their first GTR. With fellow NYers Lisa and Mark, they were great fun to get to know.
Below that is most of the SC group - Lisa (in pink) call us WRENS - whacky riders enjoying nature's splendor. FYI - the SC state bird is the Carolina wren.
Tracey Trumbull, who rides with Cathy, took the photo of the two of us. It was FUN catching up with the Trumbulls this year; they've had a lot of changes since we last saw them at GTR 2008. Now living in Chattanooga, instead of Knoxville, and loving the riding there!
